Sign in to USPS.com and use USPS Delivery Instructions® during tracking to tell your carrier where to leave the package, hold it at the Post Office, or schedule redelivery. The service is free for most domestic packages.

Why isn't my tracking number updating?

Tracking may not update immediately after the label is created. It can take 24-48 hours for the first scan. If there are no updates after that, the package may still be moving between facilities without a scan event.
